How do I place an order?
Add the piece to your cart and check out normally. Your card is authorized at checkout but not charged until your order ships. You can cancel anytime before shipment.
How long until my order ships?
Orders ship 4 to 5 weeks from the date placed. Every Forge piece is made by hand in small batches. Nothing sits on a shelf. The piece is made because you ordered it.
We are working to shorten this lead time as the studio grows.
Can I modify or cancel my order?
Yes, anytime before shipment. Email dan@forgestudio.us with your order number.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking. You can also sign in to your account at any time.
What is your return policy?
Damages or defects: 7 days. Email dan@forgestudio.us with photos within 7 days of delivery. We will replace the piece if available, or refund.
Standard returns: 30 days. Unused pieces, in original packaging, can be returned within 30 days for a refund. Original shipping is non-refundable, and return shipping is at your expense.
Custom commissions are non-returnable. Wholesale and trade orders are handled through Faire, with their free-returns policy.
What if my piece arrives damaged?
Email dan@forgestudio.us with photos within 7 days of delivery. We'll send a replacement if the piece is in stock, or refund the cost plus taxes.
One replacement request per order.
What if my order is missing or never arrived?
Email dan@forgestudio.us within 5 days of expected delivery (or 10 days if you suspect a transit issue). We will work with the carrier and either replace the order or refund.
Where is Forge made?
Forge is made in San Diego. Designed in San Diego. Fired in San Diego. Shipped from San Diego. Read more about how the line comes together on our Studio page.
Why do colors and surfaces vary?
Because pieces are hand-glazed and hand-finished. No two are identical. This is intentional — if you want machine-perfect uniformity, Forge isn't the line.
Are Forge pieces dishwasher safe?
Yes. All Forge ceramics are dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and oven safe up to 400°F. The pieces are vitrified stoneware, fired at cone 5/6 — made for everyday use.
