Ordering and shipping
Add the piece to your cart and check out normally. Your card is charged when you place your order. You can cancel anytime before shipment for a full refund.
Orders ship 4 to 5 weeks from the date placed. Every Forge piece is made by hand in small batches. Nothing sits on a shelf. The piece is made because you ordered it.
We are working to shorten this lead time as the studio grows.

Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking. You can also sign in to your account at any time.
Yes. We set up custom registries. Email dan@forgestudio.us to start one.
Returns and damage
Damages or defects: 7 days. Email dan@forgestudio.us with photos within 7 days of delivery. We will replace the piece if available, or refund.
Standard returns: 30 days. Unused pieces, in original packaging, can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund. Email dan@forgestudio.us to start a return before sending anything. Original shipping is non-refundable, and return shipping is at your expense. Sets are returned whole.
Custom commissions are non-returnable. Wholesale and trade orders can be placed through Faire, which follows Faire's free-returns policy, or arranged directly with Abbey at abigail@forgestudio.us. Direct orders follow the terms on their invoice.
Email dan@forgestudio.us with photos within 7 days of delivery. We'll send a replacement if the piece is in stock, or refund the cost plus taxes.
One replacement request per order.
Email dan@forgestudio.us within 5 days of expected delivery (or 10 days if you suspect a transit issue). We will work with the carrier and either replace the order or refund. If tracking shows your order as delivered, we'll file a claim with the carrier for you, and a replacement or refund depends on the carrier's decision.

Because pieces are hand-glazed and hand-finished. No two are identical. The variation is part of the work.
Yes. All Forge ceramics are dishwasher safe and microwave safe. The pieces are vitrified stoneware, fired at cone 5/6 — made for everyday use. The one exception is the Ring Box, which should be washed by hand.
